MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for 2024 Grand Design Reflection 150 Series 295RL

Updated 01/26/2026 | Published 01/23/2026

Question:

I have a 2024 Grand Design Reflection 150 series 295RL fifth wheel equipped with the CRE 3000 suspension. I am looking at purchasing the MORyde X-Factor Crossmembers, one for each hanger for a total of three. Which X-Factor Crossmember model best fits my fifth wheel? Thanks in advance.

Hey John! With the CRE3000 on your Reflection you need the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers # MR33WR. The same crossmember will be used on all three sets of hangers.

The one thing I would do is take a look under your trailer to see if any lines or plumbing would be in the way. Rather than try to move them, you can add the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember Adapter Kit for Drop Down Applications # MR43WR so the crossmember can run below.

It doesn't look like we needed to use any when Brad installed them on a 2025 Reflection (see the video further down on this page) but it doesn't hurt to double check.

What trips are you planning with the 295RL this season?

Hello Robin, Thank you for the information, especially the additional information about the adapter kit. Once I get the camper out of storage, I will check to see if there is anything in the way of this addition. We are planning a trip to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks this summer. Since hearing that some of the roads are not the smoothest, I wanted to ensure that I make this upgrade to prevent any chance of damage. Thanks again! John

@JohnS that sounds like an amazing trip! You’re definitely on the right track, and that upgrade should help add some extra peace of mind on those rougher roads. Once you get the camper out of storage, feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Hey John I tow a 36'6" Alta KRL2850 with 3/4 tn Ram. From the day I rolled it off the lot I was chasing suspension gremlins, I changed out the equalizers, installed heavier shackles and bronze bushing and adding shocks. One thing I didnt think about was the weak link in the suspension - the spring hangers, there is a lot of side to side stress placed on the spring hangers from rutted/uneven roads and when trying backing and turning into tight spaces (even with reinforced hangers). These cross members (installed 3) IMO spread the stress out. I have noticed a big difference on rutted roads (less side to side pulling as the trailer tries to track the ruts). Sorry about the long response but it's a suspension system and there is no single cure-all. In 2 years when we go with a 5ver I will add them to it as well.. If you order them early and plan on installing them later make sure to inventory each box as they come in, the shipping boxes from MORryde were less than stout and were damaged and i was missing more than a few items, Though not Etrailers fault they made sure I got the missing pieces quickly. Have a great trip!!!

I have bought the system for all three positions for my fifth wheel. It has made a huge difference and I highly recommend it. That being said I also have done a lot more reinforcement to my system by adding Sumo Spring helper springs, boxed the spring hangers, and made triangle brackets for above the hangers to reinforce any movement in the frame and floor Joyce’s. If anyone wants to know how to go about it, I don’t mind answering questions. If you do the amount of traveling as I do, it’s well worth the time and money to reinforce your axle system.
