Hey David, we have everything we need to flat tow your 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD but the first thing you need is a base plate kit like the Blue Ox part # BX1988 which I like because in my experience the Blue Ox kits are just really well made and easier to use.

In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking to flat tow your vehicle. One of the most popular compatible tow bars is the Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 which comes with safety cables. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.

For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.

Then for braking you would want the Demco Air Force One part # DM26VR since your 2018 Tiffin Allegro Bus Model 45MP has air brakes.

Hey Jameson C. All of that looks great. Wondering if this is self installable? Any idea what the approximate cost of having it installed? Do you have a list of installers in Minnesota? Everything you list is in stock? Thank you in advance. Dave K

@DavidK Yes all of the parts I mentioned are possible to be self installed as people pull that off pretty frequently. Cost is hard to predict but I'd imagine it wouldn't be cheap as some of the parts like the base plate and braking are pretty time consuming. Everything is in stock. I attached a link below this to where you can find a local installer to you to help if you decide to go that route.
