Question:
I have a 2003 Ranger Trail boat trailer and need to replace the backup lights. Looking for best replacement to mesh with existing wiring. Old lights were small and round and had ground and hot wire without terminals. I am looking for something with wires that can be retrofitted. Existing hole in trailer is 1 7/8 but this can be enlarged as needed. Need suggestion for clear backup light. Thanks.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2003 Ranger Trail Boat Trailer I recommend upgrading to the larger Optronics LED Backup Light # BUL12CB. These lights are submersible and have a clear lens with 6 bright LED's to improve visibility when backing up over your stock lights. These lights will require a cutout 6.85" long by 2.5" tall. A Grommet # a70gb is used to hold the light in place and they are wired with a Pigtail # A86PB. This will make it easier to replace lights in the future if they become damage.
