what size wire bolt leader do you need for this install? is it 7/16 cariage bolts? thanks

The etrailer hitch part # e87AR that you referenced actually comes with 4 bolt leaders so they wouldn't need to be supplied. The bolts are 1/2 inch though so for a replacement bolt leader you'd want the part # C58400.
