Question:

I'm looking at the Curt and etrailer hitches for my 2022 Cherokee. They appear to be identical aside from the price, is that correct?

The Curt # C13395 and etrailer # e73ZR are in fact nearly identical. However, what sets the etrailer hitch apart is the matte black powder coat finish. This gives it more of an OEM appearance for a sharp look on your 2022 Jeep Cherokee and is also the reason I would recommend it over others. The finish also does a better job hiding dirt and dings when compared to the glossy finish in the Curt hitch.

If you plan on doing some towing you will also need wiring and a ball mount. The most reliable wiring is the Curt # C56406. This will give you a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount you can use the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, along with a ball mount bag for storage.
