The best hitch for your 2023 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is going to be the etrailer Hitch item # e73ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to Jeep with included hardware. It fits both the Trailhawk and non Trailhawk models.
I really like the etrailer hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper cover completely concealing the crossbar. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 4,500 lbs towing capacity, and a 675 lbs maximum tongue weight which can be increased to 5,500 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 119250KIT and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
