What Controls The Furrion Heat Strip # FR27PR When Installed With My Furrion Single Zone AC Unit

Question:
I have a Jayco Jay Feather 27BHB with the Furrion AC unit. It is single zone AC. I would like to get the heat strip FR27PR. How is the heat strip controlled? Does it utilize the existing thermostat or does it have a separate controller?

After installing The Furrion Heat Strip Add-On for Furrion Air Conditioner # FR27PR on your Jayco Jay Feather 27BHB the heating strip is utilized using the existing thermostat. This heating strip will work best in smaller spaces where the temperature has dropped between 50 F and 70 F.
