Hi! I have a 2015 Lance 2185 travel trailer and I want to add a tow hitch to the back. It will hold a bike rack only. I have some images of the bumper and wondering what hitch I could use. I would ideally like to keep the hitch higher and not hanging down under the trailer much. It looks I can remove the bumper and use the C channels on either side of the frame. I also would like to get it to Arizona some time next week. Let me know what you think! Chris 415-450-0127

Hello Chris. If you want to put a hitch on the bumper of your travel trailer, I recommend the Stromberg Carlson 2" Motor Home Hitch # BA-100. This is designed to fit a 4" x 4" or 4" x 4-1/2" bumper and provides you with a 2" hitch receiver for your bike rack. This hitch can also be mounted to the top or bottom of your bumper.
If you prefer to go with a frame mounted hitch, take a look at the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703. This can be made to fit virtually any frame between 22" and 72" wide and it can be bolted or welded on.
