I have a new furrion model FR86PR does it have a soft start already installed and do I need the furrion control box to put a heat on this model it is currently plugged into a dometic control box and dometic t-stat and is working fine

The heat strips Furrion offers would require a Furrion controller, air distribution box, and wall thermostat (non-manual models) to install. If you have a single zone unit you would need the following components:

Replacement Air Distribution Box for Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioners - Manual Control - White # FR28PR.
For systems with electric control (wall thermostat) you would need the following components:
