In order to flat tow your 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L you will need the following:

-Base Plate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM77ZR

-Tow Bar: Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676 (this includes safety cables)

-Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154

-Supplemental Braking: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This system comes with a charge line kit included to keep your Jeep's battery charged as you tow. It will also require the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400.

It is also likely you will need a high-low adapter. I have attached a helpful article showing how to measure, along with a link to our available selection of adapters for you to check out.

For an anti-rattle to go along with that setup I recommend the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches # RM-061. This will eliminate rattle and sway while also reducing wear and tear on your flat towing equipment. If you end up needing a high-low adapter, you will want to use 2 immobilizers to make your system as secure and rattle-free as possible.
