Question:

My question is about Item # MAL73FR. Are there any carpeted runners that could be attached in addition to the lengthwise runners, so you could load another flat bottom kayak next to the kayak that runs the length of the trailer? Does that make sense?

It sounds like you are wanting to add the Bunk Kit for Malone Trailers # MPG561 to the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer # MAL73FR to carry 2 kayaks. We do have the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer for 2 Heavy Kayaks # MAL25FR that will include the bunks for 2 kayaks and is rated for 800lbs of gear versus the 400lbs with the EcoLight trailer. This trailer also places the bunks lower making it easier to load and off load your kayaks.
