Hey Gene. The Malone MicroSport LowBed Off-Road 2 Kayak Trailer Package item # MAL37ER has a top speed of 65 mph. The off road tires included with the trailer are 10 ply 205/65-10 Load range E.

We have the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire item # AM1HP56 that tops out at 87 mph. If you want to swap the tires out and focus on highway speed instead of off-road traction. They're sold individually but will fit the rims included with the Malone item # MAL37ER trailer.

How fast are you wanting to go and are you going to be traveling mostly highway or back roads?

So that’s the speed rating of the tires? I would almost be more concerned about the wheel bearings how fast they’ll be spinning. One of my favorite places to go is about a 5 mile trek through the mountains of West Virginia on nothing more than a fire road. And other places I go are 2 to 3 Hour Dr. at highway speeds with a70 mph speed limit

@GeneK Yes, that's correct. The tires are the lowest rated component speed wise on the Malone MicroSport item # MAL37ER. That sounds like peaceful spot. I'm guessing the fire roads in West Virginia are about as well maintained as the ones I've been on in Missouri and California. I recommend sticking with the off-road tires and slowing down a bit on the highway trips. It looks like your new 2026 Ram 1500 has the same 5.7 Hemi in it that my Durango does so with gas prices right now you'll appreciate being forced to slow down a bit.

@JerredH thank you very much for all the information. My new ram has the hurricane motor in it. It’s an in-line twin turbo six cylinder 425 hp a lot more power than than the hemi and about the same fuel mileage lol
