Hello Mr P,

I reached out to my contact at Malone, he informed me that on the EcoLight Trailers you cannot go larger than a 8" wheel. With that being said, you cannot put the # AM35354 on your EcoLight. For your Malone EcoLight I recommend the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # AM30070 as we do not have one in black.

What was the reason for the larger wheels?

Thanks Kate , I see that some of the Maloie trailers do have 12" wheels. Can I put the 12"wheels if I modify finders? Do I need to change hubs? 8" wheels are too small for any trailer. Malione needs to upgrade wheels for higher speed and long haul trips

@MrP Mr P. I am very sorry, but you cannot put the 12" wheels on your trailer. Here was the full email to me: Thank you for reaching out to us regarding our EcoLight Trailer; yes, a 12" Wheel would be too big for any of the EcoLight Trailer Packages. The largest Wheels that should be put on the EcoLight Trailer Packages would be the 8" Wheels/we do not suggest that any Wheels larger than 8" are put on the EcoLight Trailer Packages. All of the Trailer Packages that we sell have a 65mph Speed Rating, and adding any larger Wheels to the Trailer would not increase the Speed Rating associated with the Trailer Package. Our Trailers that would be compatible with 12" Wheels would be our MicroSport & MicroSport LowBed Trailer Packages.
