Ball Mount Recommendation for 2022 Chevy Silverado Z71 Needing 3-1/4" Drop Hitch

Question:
Got a new 22 Silverado Z71. I will use it to pull my 2003 18 1/2 foot Basstracker that sits on a typical Trailstar trailer. I have always pulled it with Jeep Grand Cherokees in the past. Decided I should measure, or try to, and get as close to level as I could. Have always used a 2 inch drop before but maybe I should have been using a little more. In measuring from top of receiver and bottom of the tongue on the trailer and figuring the weight of the trailer on the vehicle, I am coming up with approx. 19.75 for the receiver and 16.5 on the trailer. Difference should be the correct drop or 3.25 inches. Just wondering if this sounds correct to you

Yes, it looks like you did your math correctly!
The B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS20067BMP for a 2-1/2" receiver you were looking at is an excellent choice due to the versatility is has to offer plus it's compatible with the GM MultiPro tailgate if that's what you have.
I recommend picking up a hitch lock like part # 34061072-D or the full kit # 34061775-D to secure your investment. You only need the single locking pin to lock the ball mount to your truck but the additional locking pins help prevent tampering of where you have the ball mount set to.
Attached is a review video of this ball mount for you to check out.
