Question:
I am looking for a 7 pin wiring harness for a 2017 Ford Escape with the capability of charging the camper battery while driving. Is this something that you carry or will I have to use a 4 pin harness with a 7 pin adapter? Thanks for your help with this,

Expert Reply:
The 7-pin harness you need for your 2017 Ford Escape is the # ETBC7. This will provide you with the power you need to keep your battery charged on your camper. As far as installation, it involves a splice-in process to your current wiring.
In order to install this harness, you need to have a 4-pin harness already installed on your Escape. For that part, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One # 118715 over the competitor Hopkins option. This is because the T-One comes with a much higher overall quality than Hopkins-brand wiring.
I went ahead and attached some helpful installation videos to assist you.
