Question:
I am trying to set up my 2006 subaru forester to tow a tear trailer. The tear trailer has a 7 blade plug, but I have only been able to find flat 4 connectors online for my subaru. Is it even possible to set up my vehicle with 7 blade connector without simple using an adapter? I would like to be able to charge the battery on my tear while towing, as well as have reverse lights. Thanks

We definitely can get a 7-Way connector on your 2006 Subaru Forester so you can tow your tear trailer. You just need the following parts:
- Tekonsha T-One 4-Way Wiring # 118461
- Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7
- Mounting Bracket # C57202
The T-One wiring plugs into the OEM connector on your Forester and then the Universal Wiring plugs into that and includes the rest of the connectors and wiring you need to make the 7-Way fully functional. The mounting bracket makes it so your wiring connector sits by your hitch receiver and is easily accessible.
