ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire Recommendation for a 2019 Jayco Baja Travel Trailer
Updated 07/08/2022 | Published 07/06/2022 >
Question:
I have a Jayco 195RB Baja with LT215/75R15 tires. I would like to use ST225 tires to increase the load rating a little. Can I use the same wheels? Or what size wheel should I use?

You most certainly can upgrade your 215/75R15 tires to the 225/75R15 size since either tire size is designed to fit on a 15" wheel. So you can keep your wheels and then I recommend upgrading to the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # LHWL304.
This has a load range of E (2,830 lbs at 80 psi), a speed rating of L (75 mph) and comes with a 5-year warranty which is pretty much when you'll want to swap out tires for newer ones anyway. The best part is this tire is backed by the complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years which means you get help on the road 24/7 365 from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
