I want to put a trailer hitch on my 2022 Honda CRV Hybrid touring. Do you any design that not blocking the sensor that is used for kick to open trunk.

When installing a trailer hitch on your 2022 Honda CRV The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2 inch # e98848 may limit some of the use of your tailgate functions, but you'll still be able to use it. This will be the same case with all other hitches. I know for the previous generation, Honda offered a sensor relocation kit but we don't know if it carries over to this generation. If you're interested in that, I'd recommend checking with your Honda dealer.

The trailer hitch has a bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a matte black powder coat finish which is over a protective base coat that offers a superior rust resistance. The trailer hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight up to 3,500 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 525 pounds. I would recommend checking your vehicle's manual to find the proper towing capacity of your vehicle.

When it comes to the trailer wiring harness The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118741 will give you a 4-flat connector. Using this harness will make it to where your trailer's stop, turn and taillights will mirror your vehicle's stop, turn and taillights. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area, behind the driver's-side interior trim panel. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, open the fuse compartment beneath the driver's-side dash. Locate the fuse position indicated in the instruction, and then insert the included fuse.

To finish the towing experience I recommend The Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534. This convenient starter kit has everything you need to tow minus the hitch. Includes an 7-1/2 inch long, powder coated ball mount with a pre-torqued hitch ball; hitch pin and clip; hitch receiver lock with keys; hitch cover; and a storage case.

Do you know if all 2022 Honda CR-V's have the wiring harness that accommodates the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534? I also own a 2022 CR-V Hybrid Touring model and I have not been able to verify it has the towing option installed. I have not pulled the trim panels off to check.

@ChrisJ Yes Chris, all CR-V's have the OEM wiring in place to accommodate a trailer wiring harness like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118741.
