Question:

have a 2025 honda Crv hybrid all wheel drive and need wiring kit for trailer not sure whether to go with Curt C56370 or Tekonsha 118741 I am installing myself your recommendation and confirmation of fit

Hey Kip, thanks for reaching out.

Both of the wiring harnesses you mentioned, the Curt # C56370 and the Tekonsha # 118741 will fit your 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid AWD. Personally, I would go with the Curt # C56370. I have installed quite a few of these myself and I almost always go with the Curt. I know them to be reliable and their instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. They are usually a bit more affordable than the Tekonsha too.

It is important to note that with the 2025 Honda CRV there is an additional fuse needed to activate the tow package. This fuse in not included with the wiring harness, but you will easily be able to find one at any local auto parts store. The towing section of your owner's manual should tell you the exact fuse type and location. All you will have to do it pop it in.

As far as the wiring harness itself. It will be a very easy DIY install. You just need to pull back a few panels to reveal the OEM connector then you just plug in. The video I linked below will show you how its done. Feel free to reach out if you need anything else.

@Koop Yes! The Curt T-Connector # C56370 will work with all models of the 2024 Honda CR-V and this includes the Hybrid model.

The problem I had installing a Curt #56370 in my 2024 CRV EX-L was the 15 amp fuse that was included to fit in the under dash slot 17, was a mini fuse. It needs a low profile mini fuse. Took awhile to catch that.
