How To Help With The Slop Of My Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Hitch
Updated 07/07/2022 | Published 07/06/2022 >
Question:
I have a Equal-i-zer set up for my truck. Is there any trick to get rid of the hitch slop when you come to a stop or when taking off. Its annoying and I always feel like something is wrong but its just the hitch. Will this cushioned shank work with my Equal-i-zer WDH? Thanks

Expert Reply:
When it comes to helping with hitch slop on your Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch I recommend switching your shank with The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank for 2 inch Hitches - 10,000 pounds # AMAC1.
Using this weight-distributing shank will help eliminate the push-and-pull feel and knocking noise that is often experienced when towing heavy trailers. The shank has multiple attachment holes that allow you to level your weight-distribution head.
The shank is constructed of a powder coated steel with an interior polyurethane cushion. This shank has a towing capacity up to 10,000 pounds and has a tongue weight capacity up to 2,000 pounds, and also functions as a rise or drop to help level your trailer.
