Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch # C15302 does have you reinstall your spare tire on your 2010 Chevy Silverado in step 6 of the installation instructions that are attached.
If you need a ball mount kit, I recommend # EBMK2416 that comes with a 16K rated ball mount with a 3 inch rise or 4 inch drop, a 2 inch ball, a 2-5/16 inch ball, pin and clip, and a storage bag.
