What is the measurement from the top of the hitch from the bottom of the bumper for a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD?

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15703 hangs pretty low on a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500. From the bottom of the bumper to the top of the hitch receiver it is approximately 4 inches. I have included a picture showing the gap.
A similar hitch, # C15302, which also fits your truck is much tighter to the bumper with only a fraction of an inch of space between the bumper and receiver.
