The Chevy Colorado must have a Neutral and a Four-Wheel Drive Low setting to be able to be flat towed; please review your vehicle specific owner's manual for this information.
- Base Plate, Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit, # 3122-1
- Tow Bar, Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar, # RM-522
- Safety Cables, RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, # RM-643
- Tow Bar Wiring, Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit, # RM-15267
- Supplemental Braking System, Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39524
Per the owner's manual, you will need to disconnect the negative battery cable to flat tow your vehicle. To this I suggest the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System # RM-766.
You may or may not require a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level. The objective is to have the tow bar set at +/- 3" of level once installed between the motorhome and vehicle under tow. This will require some measuring on your part so I've attached our help guide article to help you determine the correct rise/drop needed for your application.
