Question:
I have a 24foot 10k enclosed car hauler that i need a weight distribution hitch. I am unsure of the tw on the trailer but my tow rig is an 2019 silverado 2500hd that does have a 3inch leveling kit. The truck pulls the trailer just fine, however it does squat a bit and does feel a little light on the front tires. I really feel the trailer behind my truck in the wind. What weight distribution hitch do i need for my application? I was looking at the Blue Ox BXW2000 SWAYPRO Weight Distributing Hitch 2000lb Tongue Weight for Standard Coupler with Clamp-On Latches

When it comes to installing a weight distribution on your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 when towing a 24 foot 10,000 pound car hauler I recommend The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 12,000 pounds GTW, 1,200 pounds TW # FA92-00-1200. When it comes to using weight distribution you need to be as close as possible to your trailer weight to get the best ride. The Blue Ox Sway Pro # BXW2000 you were looking at would be overkill because it is meant for a trailer weighing up to 20,000 pounds, using this system will produce more sway.
The Fastway system gives you weight options between 10,000 pounds to 13,000 pounds and will help with the amount of sway you're getting when towing your trailer. This system has the no-drill clamp on brackets as well that can be adjusted along the trailer. Everything is included in this system except The 2-5/16 inch Hitch Ball - 1-1/4 inch Diameter x 2-3/4 inch Long Shank - Chrome - 12,000 pounds # 19286. To easily install the hitch ball I also recommend The Thin walled Socket # EQ70-00-4800. Since you have a 3 inch leveling kit you may need a shank with a greater drop like The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank - 12 inch Long - 7-3/4 inch Rise, 3-1/4 inch Drop - 1,400 pounds TW # FA92-02-4213.
