Question:

I would like to use lite #stl76rb on the rear of a chevy pickup that I pull behind my motorhome it would be powered from a four wire connection. How would I wire it to make the tail,stop, and signal lites work.

First, you would want to use 2 of these because otherwise the light would blink with either turn signal. What you you would do is take a trailer side 4-Way, # A35W42B, and attach the lights wires to it as follows:

On the driver side you will attach the white wire to the truck frame or to the white wire on the 4-Way. The red wire would go to the solid yellow wire on the 4-Way. The black light wire attaches to the yellow with brown stripe wire from the 4-Way.

On the passengers side do the same thing with the white wire as you did on the other side. The red wire connects to the 4-Way solid green wire. The black light wire connects to the green with brown stripe 4-Way wire.

The other option would be to use a light kit that plugs into a 4-Way like #, # RM-2120, or # RM-2120.
