Old incandescent lights don’t hold up well to vibration or moisture, but this low-profile LED trailer tail light is built to last. With 11 diodes behind its red lens, it delivers strong, even illumination for brake, tail, and turn functions. At 12.8V, the stop/turn circuit draws just 0.350 amps and the tail circuit only 0.022 amps, so you get bright light with minimal power draw. LEDs also mean no fragile filaments or bulb swaps—just consistent performance that lasts up to 50 times longer than traditional lights.
Moisture is one of the biggest enemies of trailer lighting, but this light doesn’t let it in. The polycarbonate housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that keeps water from reaching the circuit board. Even when submerged, the sealed design protects the internal components so you can rely on it for boat trailers or in wet conditions without worrying about corrosion or burnouts.
Rough roads and frequent towing can shake apart weaker lights, but this one uses surface-mount technology (SMT) for the LED circuit board. SMT helps it resist shock and vibration better while also improving heat distribution. The tough polycarbonate housing adds even more durability, so it can handle the bumps and jolts without flickering or failing.
Setup is simple thanks to its 3-wire design—white for ground, black for running lights, and red for stop/turn signals. The light mounts on any flat surface using two holes spaced 16-1/8" center to center, with 3/32" (2.38 mm) diameter holes that fit #6 screws or similar hardware. At 17" long x 1-3/8" wide x 1" deep, it installs cleanly for a sleek look without sticking out awkwardly or requiring extra brackets or plates.

These were to replace some on the back of my motorhome that I installed about 4 years ago. They corroded with Michigan’s winters and salted roads but looked so good I replaced them with fresh ones.
Replaced the crappy original stick-out basic lights with these LED ones under the lip of the deck. Fit great, work great. Good product, as expected from etrailer.
Inexpensive and easy to install. Mounted on a rough riding horse trailer and over thousands of harsh terrain, the lights work flawlessly.

I used this as a brake light and it has handled offroad abuse and has continued to work without any segments burning out. It was wired to provide the brightest output.
I like a lot of folks did my research, I have a specific requirement for this cargo carrier, I need it to hold a dock box made by lifetime. And this carrier works perfectly. It was very easy to assemble. And very sturdy. I enclosed a picture of the dock box installed. I had to do some modifications to the dock box, but it worked out beautifully. I highly recommend this cargo carrier for the price quality and value.
Worked great, I used them on the sides of my headache rack.

Everything good once I’ve got the correct light
I installed this light as a third brake light at the top of my camper. LEDs, no maintenance, works great. A big improvement in safety. Order service was prompt and accurate. Good job.
Looked at several lights on amazon. Flat on the back makes for a difficult connection. Found these on etrailer and worked great. Their is a good space behind the light to deal with the ground and wires. Excellent buy! Very happy with purchase. Shipping was fast and great follow up on purchase. Will buy again!

East to install, replaced original 2012 lights, very bright
I found that the travel trailer OEM tail lights were blocked by the cargo carrier. I installed these light as an extension of the OEM tail light. These lights enhanced the OEM lights. Now I worry a bit less about the vehicles behind me.
The clear LED tailight strips that came with my trailer started filling with moisture and were only partially working. Most trailer part places only had the 15" lights. You were the only ones I found with the 17" lights and a diagram showing the mounting hole centers and dimensions. The product pictures were great for checking the wiring. Quick shipping and the tracking link was great. A few simple tools & some butt connectors and I was done. Finished the job with clear caulking around the lights.I like the red strip over the clear stock one and the lights are easy to see even in full sun.
Boat and trailer are covered for the winter season. Won’t be installing the lights until the spring.

Identical to the one on the trailer. Once unscrewed from the rig I have about 1/8" of wire sticking out to work with. Haven't figured out how to pull enough wire from the camper to attach the new light so I haven't replaced it...yet. One day, though. One day.

Update: Have trailered my boat 3-4 times per month in the last year and these lights are still burning bright! Great, reliable product.
The LED taillights worked out great with my trailer rebuild. They will be protected at all times because I was able to have them tucked out of harms way. They are not low where backing up would endanger them and not protruding from the sides to be in the way either.
But they are still highly visible at all times from the side or rear. THANKS for a great product!

The tail lights were a great finishing touch to the rebuild of my utility trailer. The taillights are so visible and stay out of the way. They dont have those tender filaments in the old bulbs that a bouncing trailers play havoc with. Not to mention rusty bulb sockets that made the bulbs dimmer!
