Recommended Draw-Tite Hitch That Fits a 2025 Acura RDX

I just bought a 2025 Acura RDX. I am curious why the Draw-Tite Hidden Hitch fits the 2018-2024 RDX, but not the 2025. What changed? I really like the product, and do not like the way currently offered hitches hang below the vehicle.

Hey David congrats on the new SUV! There are two Draw-Tite hitches that fit the 2025 Acura RDX one is a class III 2" and the other is a class II 1-1/4". I have listed them below:

2" Hitch - Draw-Tite item # 76268

1-1/4" Hitch - Draw-Tite item # 36114

I recommend going with the 2" item # 76268 because it offers a higher capacity and a wider range of options for accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers.

What do you plan on using the hitch for?

@JerredH thanks for the recommendations. I will most likely choose the 2" when I decide to pull the trigger. I used to do most of my own vehicle maintenance, but at 77 years old, with lung issues, I will admit that I haven't been crawling around under my 2025 Acura RDX other than to check for a spare tire. I would love to know what Acura did to their design of the rear which will not allow for the Draw-Tite hidden hitch to work. I am hoping that you and the engineering staff can answer that question. I hate the look of the hitch that you recommended hanging under the car and protruding the way that it does. Any possibility of the engineers coming up with a more hidden version? Thanks Jerred. I probably already know your response will be that you don't know, and no products are in development, but I had to ask anyway.

Hey Kurt, The tech note on the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver #e72AR is talking about wheel diameter and not overall diameter of the wheel and tire. Since you have 17" wheels you shouldn't have an issue with a full-size spare.
