This Thinline LED Tail Light puts out a crisp red light through a clear lens using 9 red LEDs that produce 103 raw lumens and 72 effective lumens. It runs on a 12-volt system and draws just 0.2 amps for brake and turn signals and 0.01 amps for tail lights at 12.8 volts. That means bright, reliable lighting that won’t overload your trailer wiring. LEDs also last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs, so there’s no need to worry about swapping bulbs or losing brightness over time.
When space is limited, this Thinline light fits where others can’t. At 12-5/8" long, 1" tall, and only 1/2" deep, it mounts neatly to flat surfaces without sticking out. The two mounting holes are spaced on 11-3/4" centers, so setup is simple. It uses a basic 3-wire pigtail—white for ground, black for tail, red for turn or brake—and hardware installs directly through the integrated holes. No need for special brackets or gaskets.
This light’s housing and lens are sonically sealed to form a single waterproof unit. That design keeps water from sneaking in and damaging the diodes or circuit board, even when submerged. It’s a solid pick for trailers that see rain, washdowns, or boat launches—staying clear and functional no matter how wet things get.
The polycarbonate lens and housing give this light strength against bumps and vibration. Inside, surface-mount construction of the LED board holds up better under shock while dispersing heat more effectively. I plan to use two of them for a custom trailer I am building. They have not been hooked up yet, but they look to be exactly as described. They seem to be great quality lights with excellent waterproofing.
I sold the trailer the lights were purchased for before the led light package was installed. The lights met my expectations.
Although I havent installed this Thinline Light yet, I have seen a demo online. These guys are well made and super bright. Really versatile, can be used as stop, tail and or turn signals, even as a 3rd Brake light which is what I`ll be installing mine as.
Great product to replace tail lights on my enclosed trailer. Looks like a good quality build, time will tell on LED life.
*wish etrailer would pickup more size options in clear LED tail-light strips, the ones I replaced where 17”. Did not see any clear ones on the site this size.

Works great, just a little brittle. I wanted to use some screws at the end to mount it in addition to the tape, broke with little pressure. My fault as it wasn't designed that way. I would buy again, just use the tape only.
I installed two of these, one on each side, on the back of my Gemtop canopy to replace the stupid looking (and broken) tail light that was on the top center just under the lumber rack... (I see the conflict). These things are nice and bright, and the unique light pattern makes my truck easy to track or follow when caravanning.

GOOD QUALITY
When I transport my dirt bike, it obscures the tail lights on my Jeep. So I needed a tail light that I could mount to a motorcycle rack that fits into my hitch receiver. This product was a perfect fit. It’s thin, bright, easy to mount and looks good. etrailer has always made it easy to find, purchase and ship parts for what ever project I’m working on.

I used these for auxiliary towing lights on my 2018 Jeep JKU Wrangler. I have them wired to both a lead going to the front of the Jeep where they can be attached to the motor coach providing independent running-stop-turn lights for the Jeep while in tow as well as to a short trailer connector on the rear. The later allows me to plug them in to my trailer tow connector and they operate in parallel with my OEM lights when the Jeep is not being towed.
I replaced all of my exterior travel trailer lights for LEDs, and etrailer was my go-to source. These thinline strip lights were a new addition, because I wanted higher visibility with the tail lights.
The thinline lights were tied in with the existing tail light wiring and work great. What I find most attractive is the clear lens and slim profile, so they are not detracting from the white fiberglass trailer's design.

I wish I would have discovered etailer.com and specifically this light 2 months ago! I am redoing a snowmobile trailer and wanted to update the lights. I have less than 2” to work with. After ordering multiple style of lights I finally discovered thin light gold! This saved my project and works great! Now all I need is snow!

It has been over a year since my purchase from etrailer.com and the lights still work great! I have put these lights to the test and they have held up wonderfully! Couldn’t be more happy! I will definitely be a return customer for future projects!
These lights work great on a renovation of an old trailer. I put three on the back of the trailer right/left and one in the center for a tail light I love the size and how bright they are

This is a common issue when installing the lights with screws using a drill - you are not alone! When installing these - and other trailer lights - with screws, it is best to hand tighten the screws so you have more control over the pressure.
