Are Load Resistors Needed When Converting Trailer Taillights to LED

Question:
My Truck has factory LED lights. Do I need to buy a load resistor if Iam changing out my old incandescent brake/turn signal lights on my RV to LED brake/turn signal lights?

Expert Reply:
You never have to install load resistors on a trailer when converting the taillights to LED. The only time you have to do that is when converting a vehicle light from incandescent to LED.
