Question:

Sorry but I found the instructions on whether to get a 13326 confusing. One part said if mfg before 11/02 get 13326 and the next part said if mfg after 11/01 get a different one. My mfg date is 03/02. I seem to be after 11/01 and before 11/02 so I am confused. Please advise. I checked the distance between the holes on the cross member and it is 12.5inch so it seems 13326 is correct but not sure given above issue.

The build dates do not apply to the 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, only to the 2003 models. For your 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 I have linked all of the trailer hitches that fit. The Curt trailer hitch that you referenced, # 13326, will fit your Ram.

If you plan on doing some towing then I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. For trailer wiring use # C55504 if needed.
