Question:
Hello! How can I hook up a standard 4 pin trailer to my 13pin on my 2004 audi allroad

Expert Reply:
What you'll need to do to hook up a trailer with a 4-way to your Audi is remove the 13-pin and replace it with the Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C89VV.
You'll use Circuit Tester # PTW2993 to find the lighting functions of your 13-pin connector, and connect them to the # C89VV. The wires for this part are as follows:
Red Wire - Brake Lights
Yellow Wire - Left Turn Signal
Green Wire - Right Turn Signal
Brown Wire - Tail Lights/Running Lights
White Wire - Ground
This converter only has one wire for the brake lights and running lights so you'd only use one of those wires from your 13-pin to this converter. Then to mount it you'd use Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144.
