Question:

Nervous trailer noob here. Seeking confirmation that this tire is compatible with the DK2 4x8 folding utility trailer stock tires? Looking to upgrade to radial from bias for highway safety. Attached images of stock tires - believe they are Journey 5.30-12. I think this tire matches on paper, but would love an experts eye. Also, curious of your thoughts on this tire vs AM31994 as a tire for a square camper. Would AM31994 tire provide better stability/performance over the AM31202 for gravel/dirt roads? Thanks!

For a replacement tire for your DK2 utility trailer I recommend the Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # TT53012C. This will be a direct replacement for your current tire which is also load range C with a maximum load of 1,050 lbs at 80 psi. It is a radial tire, which will be much better for highway use when compared to a bias ply tire. This tire will fit your existing wheels so there is no need to buy new wheels and has a maximum speed rating of 81 mph.

The # AM31994 and # AM31202 are both a wheel/tire combo so I do not think that is what you want, unless you want different wheels. They also have different height and widths when compared to your current 5.30-12 tires so I would recommend keeping it the same with the # TT53012C to avoid any clearance issues.
