Will Using 2-1/2" to 2" Hitch Reducer Affect The Use Of Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution System

Question:
Based on that part # above... I need that hitch but I have a 2.5inch receiver. I have a 2022 Ram 2500 6.4L gas Big Horn on the way and I think I need about 6in . Only options I see is to get a reducer, or spend a bunch more $$ and buy the shank and WD/Sway hitch separately. Any thoughts here? Thanks!

I have seen this situation several times. There is nothing wrong with using a Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve # C45405 with the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution # BLU59FR. You are not going to loose any weight capacity with this reducer sleeve.
The reducer will cause a little more play but you will still have hitch play with a Blue Ox Track Pro Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches # BLU26FR. To eliminate the hitch play the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer III for 2-1/2" Hitch with 2" Adapter # BX88312 will secure the hitch and eliminate the rattle.
