I'm looking to add a 7 pin and a brake controller to my 2022 Sienna XLE. I want something that is going to be easy for me to install because I am terribly lazy. The less I have to do the better. What is the best way to go here? I already put a 4-way on but I didn't realize I needed more to be able to use trailer brakes.

For the easiest brake controller installation on your 2022 Toyota Sienna XLE, you will want to start by adding the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L. This kit gives you everything you need to use a brake controller that is powered by the trailer connector so you can avoid additional installation in the cab of your vehicle. The adapter has a 4-way and 7-way connection so you will be able to use both.
Once this is installed, you will be able to use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180. This brake controller plugs in line with the 7-way at the back of your vehicle for a quick and easy installation. This is a proportional brake controller, so the braking is based on the deceleration of your tow vehicle.
The Echo is controlled via Bluetooth through the app on your phone. This allows you to adjust the braking power, use the manual override, and store different profiles if you need to. If you lose connection on your phone or your phone dies, the controller continues to operate with the current settings.
