For a trailer brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195 with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, # 3070-P which is completely plug-in-play.

The Tekonsha P3, # 90195 is the best selling brake controller for good reasons.
