The factory brake controller connector under the dash is not all that visible but it is fairly easy to locate. It is a 4-pin connector that is located underneath and left of the steering column. It will be taped to another harness near the brake pedal.
Once you locate the connector you will know it is the right one if it mates to the Tekonsha Wire Replacement for Honda Ridgeline and Pilot, item # 3070-P.
A little bit of searching is required. Sometimes the connector is completely covered by a thin black tape but you will be able to feel it taped to another harness. We have a photo of the connector in its original location for you to see where it will be located, see photo at right.
Another possibility is that your Ridgeline did not come with a factory tow package. If this is the case you will need to hard wire the Voyager Brake Controller, item # 39510. If your vehicle does not have an existing 4-way plug, you would first need to install T-one vehicle wiring harness # 118400. Then, you would use brake controller installation kit # ETBC7 to complete your installation.
We have detailed install instructions and a install video for you to review. These will help with the installation if you do not have the factory tow package wiring installed on your vehicle.

Ridgline 2013 Touring. It has a towing package; I found the connecting cable that connects to my break box, but could not fing the grey plug underneath the dash.
