What size is the kingpin on the adapter BD0289640300? I would like to use my Peterbilt tractor with 5th wheel to pull my gooseneck trailer. If the adapter is not the right one, do you have an adapter for this application? Thanks

The king pin on the Bulldog Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Coupler Adapter, # BD0289640300, is the standard 2 inch king pin that is used on all recreational and commercial fifth wheel trailers.

We do not sell any gooseneck-to-fifth-wheel adapters with different size king pins.

You have to be careful using both a slider and an offset because that creates extra stress on the trailer frame and hitch. Another thing to look at is if the 5th wheel hitch you use can be used with an adapter. On some, you can't. Another option…

The 155 is a series of jacks and not just one jack. It sounds like you might have something more like #BD155022 which has more of the outer tube below the mounting flange. There is also a version with a zinc finish #BD155028.

You are correct, gooseneck trailer to 5th wheel hitch adapter #BD0289640300 is an inner tube only that fits inside the outer tube of the gooseneck coupler. The tube is not solid, it is hollow, and the inner diameter is approximately 3-1/2 inches.
