Question:

Will this unit work with the BandW Turnoverball 5th wheel hitch unit? I read a post on the internet that the U clamps that normally go over the frame to secure the airbag assembly to the frame will not work with the BandM plates that attach to the frame. Can you comment on this?

Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs # AL88338 and the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, # BWGNRK1016 are both confirmed to fit the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. There may be an issue with installation on your vehicle, it will happen with some models. However, that is addressed by Airlift on page 2 of the installation instructions. The drawing has a note for optional hardware installation along with further details on page 9. You simply need to use the plate as a template to identify location and drill two new holes then secure with self tapping screws.

I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000EZ to inflate your air bags. This system uses a smart manifold which will allow you to adjust your air pressures to each air bag individually from either the included wireless remote or through the Air Lift App on your smart phone. It will also ensure that the settings are maintained to within 3psi of your setting whenever the system is active. This is great for preventing the bags from becoming under inflated and damaging the bags.
