The great thing about the Roadmaster Direct-Connect base plate kit is that is simply installs into your Colorado's chassis without interfering with your adaptive cruise control. It comes with all required hardware. As far as the Blackhawk 2, it allows for you to easily release your vehicle even in uneven ground and simply slides into the RV's hitch receiver without the need of a ball mount. The Blue Ox Safety Cables will be able to support up to 10,000 pounds of weight (which is plenty for your 4,730 pound vehicle). In addition, you will also receive the proportional action of the SBS Stay-IN-Play which applies the Colorado's brakes at the same level that you apply the brakes to your RV.
