Looking for a 15800 Curt tow package for my 1970 f 250 pichup

Expert Reply:
I do have some solutions for your 1970 Ford F-250, however, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15800 you reference is not a fit for your truck.
If your vehicle has the deepdrop style bumper, then I recommend the Curt 3-Piece Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15511. This is also a class V hitch like # C15800, and is rated for 15,000 maximum GTW and a maximum of 1,500 tongue weight.
If your truck does not have a deepdrop style bumper, but rather a standard or step bumper, then I recommend the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" # BWHDRH25122. This is a class V hitch that is rated for 16,000 lbs maximum GTW and 1,600 lbs maximum tongue weight.
