Question:

I need to add a tow package to my 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid to tow a small travel trailer. The trailer does have electric brakes so I will also need a brake controller. Can you list the parts so I know what all I need?

This receiver will allow you to use a weight distribution hitch like the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET which will provide you with a safer ride as it will allow you to better keep your Highlander level and will reduce trailer sway caused by wind and large trucks.

The Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter # TK57VR will provide you with a 7-way trailer connector and the wiring needed to install a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. You will need a Mounting Bracket # PK12711U to connect the 7-way connector to the mounting tab already on the Draw-Tite receiver.
