How Does Curt Hitch for Toyota RAV4 Compare to OEM Toyota Hitch

Question:

Toyota dealership says that their trailer hitch is by far and away better than a Curt 13416 hitch. They insist the Toyota hitch will stand “ the crunch” test compared to the Curt. And that it will take 5 hours to install said hitch. Can this be true? I put my Curt on in an hour!

Curt makes really nice trailer hitches. I would put the # C13149 up against an OEM hitch any day. I checked out the OEM Toyota hitch for RAV4s and I don't see any reason it would be stronger in any way. Only significant difference I can see is price being MUCH higher. Sometimes sales guys at dealerships will "exaggerate" for lack of a better term to make a sale...
