Will The Curt Or EcoHitch Trailer Hitch 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime Provide More Clearance For Bike Rack?

Question:

I have a 23 Rav4 Prime. Was looking at the video of installing the Curt Class3 hitch, and the installer said it was 5 from pinhole to the back of the bumper. I have a Yakima Hold Up 2 bike rack - will there be clearance between the bumper and the rack? Would EcoHitch be a better choice? Would that provide more clearance?

The Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack # Y02443 at it closest point will require 7" of clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear of your 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime. So the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13416 you found having 5" from the center of the hitch pin to the rear bumper will give you 2" of clearance.

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH97FR we found sits back a bit further only having 3-1/2" from the hitch center pin to the rear edge of the bumper. While this will give you more clearance at 3-1/2" with the Yakima bike rack it may be the distance you need with other hitch mounted accessories you may use in the future.
