Question:

2018 Subaru Outback Looking at Thule and Yakima swinging hitch-mount bike racks. On the 306-X7601, what is the distance from the open end of the hitch tube to the center of the hitch pin? And how deep is the interior backstop from the center of the hitch pin? Thanks.

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # 306-X7601, is 2-1/2" from the face of the hitch receiver to the center of the hitch pin hole. It has a depth from the center of the hitch pin hole to the interior depth of this hitch receiver is 5-5/8". This hitch receiver has a maximum tongue weight of 525 lbs and a gross maximum trailer weight of 3,500 lbs. Please keep in mind you will always use the lowest of these two ratings, your hitch receiver and your owner's manual.
