Both the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75673 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13206 will require drilling to install on your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon. It is only a 1-1/8" access hole though so it is pretty minimal.
The reason why we tend to recommend the Draw-Tite trailer hitches over the Curt trailer hitches is because on a good majority or their trailer hitches (including this one) they require that a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 be used to help secure all non trailer loads. Since this requires additional equipment and setup we find it easier for the customer to go with the Draw-Tite.
If you really don't want any drilling to be done to your Outback Wagon we do also have the Curt Classic IITrailer Hitch Receiver # C13410 which doesn't require drilling for the installation. It does have an installation that is a bit more involved though so if you are not comfortable working on vehicles it would be better to have this installed by professionals.
The EcoHitch is actually becoming more and more popular due to how good it looks on vehicles. EcoHitch designed it so that only the receiver and safety loops are visible for a cleaner look. Since your Outback Wagon is only rated to tow up to 2,700 lbs the 3,500 lb weight capacity will be more than enough for you as you are limited by your lowest rated component.
Installation videos for all 3 trailer hitches have bee linked for you to check out and if you let me know what you will be using the trailer hitch for I can make some additional recommendations.

I am considering 2 different hitches for my 2017 Subaru Outback. the Draw-tie 75673 vs the Curt13410. I am leaning toward the Curt. I see that another Curt mnodel requires stabilizer straps for bike rack. What would you recomend between these 2 for carrying bikes?
