- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 4-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15247
- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251

- If Motorhome Has Air Brakes: Demco SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99243
The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates are great because they have removable tabs which helps your Ram keep its factory look when you aren't flat towing. The XHD tow bar will work with these base plates, has a 10,500 lb capacity, and also includes integrated safety cables so you won't have to purchase them separately.
The Flexo-Coil wiring kit is designed to prevent any type of electrical feedback to keep your Ram's electrical system safe, and both the Stay-IN-Play DUO and Air Force One are strongly recommended because they are one-time installs which will never require any type of removal or reactivation, making them easy to use. They also give you braking proportional to that of your motorhome, which results in much smoother braking than most systems that send out a pre-set amount of braking power, which can make braking more rigid.
