Does Hitch Install of 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus Require Exhaust Lowering
Published 09/10/2021 >
Question:
instructions say rear exhaust must be removed. Is it referring to dual exhaust? Latitude has one exhaust exit pipe. is it possible to just let one side of muffler down enough to get hitch over it without pulling exhaust off? and I should not have to trim exhaust bezel on this model, correct? Thanks

Looks like all versions of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee including the Latitude with single exhaust will require the dropping of both sides of the exhaust to install a hitch like the # e73ZR. You could try to get away without lowering the exhaust but I suspect it would still get in the way.
Since you have the single exhaust you shouldn't need to trim the bezel either.
