Question:
I have a 08 ford f250 with a flat bed on it and it has led lights on it. Do you have to ground the load resistors to truck frame or can u hook them to the ground wire?

Expert Reply:
The ideal location to ground anything would be to the metal frame of the vehicle in the nearest corrosion free bare metal surface. However, if there is a ground wire near by you could try it out and see if it offers a sufficient ground. If you still get hyper flashing then a better ground location could be needed. I have included a link to the installation details for the load resistor # DI34ZR for you.
