Have a 2003 GMC Sonoma wanting to know if a 2002 Chevrolet S10 trailer hitch will install on the Sonoma

Your 2003 GMC Sonoma and a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 do indeed use the same trailer hitch receivers due to them having the same trailer hitch mounting locations, but you will need to make sure the hitch matches the options of your truck.

What I mean is there is trailer hitches that only fit if you have the factory step bumper like the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13132, where others like the Draw-Tite # 75085 fit the trucks with a factory step bumper, Sportside with non-towing bumper, and the ZR2 models.

If the trailer hitch receiver is an aftermarket one and you can provide the part number for it I would be happy to confirm exactly what styles of truck it is designed to fit.
