Great product very satisfied. Delivery was fast 3 days. Heavy duty material. Fit right on my truck no problems at all. Took me 2 hrs. to install it that included getting all the tools set up and clean up after installation. I will definitely buy from etrailers again and I would recommend you do the same.

Shipping - Recieved a confirmation email right away. After that I received multiple order update emails and received the receiver hitch and associated items in just a few days after the order was placed. Only downside is packaging. The mounting plates on the receiver hitch that actually mount to the truck frame, poked out of the cardboard box and were scratched up. But it's a truck hitch after all.
Install - Perfect. I had a hard time deciding between this hitch, the Curt Round Tube Receiver Hitch C13132 and the Draw-Tite Receiver Hitch 75085. I can say that I would chose this one every time. Fit was perfect. No wiggle at all, even with all the bolts only in place without nuts yet. It is the strongest rated Hitch for the S-10 series truck.
I installed it on a 2003 GMC Sonoma with step bumper. 4.3l, automatic, 2x4. I plan to pull a small boat, 3x ATV trailer, utility trailer.

I had installed a Curt hitch on my other vehicle in 2013 and still using it. When I got a '97 Sonoma I wanted to be able to pull my utility trailer with it too so I got another Curt from etrailer.com. It was another easy install on the Sonoma, maybe 20-30 minutes with a buddy helping hold things. I could get good pictures where the hitch bolts to the frame but it was straight forward installing it.
Excellent quality and construction (hefty!). Fit was right-on, but install took a little longer than hoped due to my working alone and in the driveway. Especially nice that the hitch itself arrives fully assembled. Highly recommended watching YouTube video before disassembly; all-in-all an "easy" bolt-on.
Received my package from UPS on time. The box was torn and the hitch was protruding but it was to be expected with a heavy item in cardboard packaging. The hitch, hardware, and wiring harness all in same package. Hitch fit perfectly. No drilling required. Took a little motivation to get the holes lined up and all the bolts in. Tight fit. No complaints here.

We are mechanics so the installation was super easy. It performs great and has plenty of room for the safety chains to hook up. The receiver has plenty of room to slide in and install the pin. I would highly recommend the Curt hitches.

This hitch is still performing flawlessly. We have had no problems at all towing a utility trailer with a Kubota tractor weighing total of 3,000. I plan to add electric brakes to my trailer very soon.

The price was way lower than other prices I got and I don't think you could get a better product. The video on youtube on how to install the hitch was a real help. I could not have put this on myself if not for the video. I can't say enough about this product and I am 100% satisfied and highly recommend this hitch to anyone.

great, works perfect
I was complety satisfied with the service that Kevin D Had given me, as he was very helpful with product information. And , the cherry on the cake was the product - Strong , Neatly manufactured and fitted perfictly. Also It was delivered by UPS a day ahead of time making the installation the same evening

As expected, even better. I also got my brother in law interested as he will need a hitch once he buys a new 2020 Nissan Rogue .
As I recall the delivery was quick and complete. The wiring was smooth too. However, I could not get the last bolt in and had to substitute a smaller size.
I pulled a trailer from VA to NH with no known issues.

One year and still working fine. I had an initial installation issue mating the hitch to the frame. But I got it with the help of a neighbor. I have purchased other products and would do so again. Tks for asking.
Came as expected. Fast shipping and was in good shape. Installation went well. Takes a little longer when you do it by yourself, but " got er done". Nice looking hitch. Should work well.

The shipping box was in sad shape when it arrived but the receiver was not damaged at all. The fit was perfect and there was no drilling necessary, I found the front holes after I cleaned the dried mud off of the frame.The receiver is first quality, something you would expect for a product made in the USA. Could not be happier with either etrailer or the receiver, Brad
thought it was a custom fit for my 1997 S10. the top of the hitch sits 21/2 inches below the bumper, not a good look. i'll have to live with

Thank you for your review. The hitch is designed for 1982 - 2004 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup with Factory Step Bumper. The hitch does attach a bit lower compare to other hitches to clear the bumper. Please take a look at the photos on the product page.
Nice hitch very well built. Fairly easy for an old man like me to mount by myself. I am
very satisfied with the price and customer service follow up. I also purchased the wire adapter for my S10 to replace the old one. This one had heavier wire than my old one. Excellent trailer wire adapter! That's about it.
Good price, fast shipping and great support. This hitch receiver for my 1998 s10 was a fairly easy install. It came with all the parts needed. I got it installed in a couple of hours. I could do it in half the time next time if needed. This is a well made product and price was cheaper than the local auto parts store including shipping. Recommend!
Ordered the curt hitch for my 2000 S10. The directions kinda sucked but the hitch hides away very well behind the bumper. One hole didn’t line up like it was supposed to on the frame and I had to drill out out some. The wiring harness I got also worked great
Will see how it fits. Package was all tore up UPS left it anyway. Both end brackets bent..... Looks like box was taped up at some point on it’s journey.
Need to figure out how to straighten.
Has to be a difficult part to ship, but there was no supporting material inside so it had no trouble pushing itself through the cardboard.

The mounting flanges on a trailer hitch are designed for straight line strength, not lateral strength. The flanges are actually designed to have some give in them, so they can flex along with the vehicle. If they get flexed during shipping, they can be easily bent back into place. As long as the powder coat didnt crack and there arent any cracks in the mounting flange itself, the hitch will work just fine after being bent back into place. Ill link you to a help article that shows a few different methods of manipulating the hitch back into place.

The fit of this trailer hitch was perfect for my 2003 s10 pickup. I unfortunately did not receive the hardware bolts in the box but after a quick phone call, etrailer made it right by sending me the necessary hardware. Would definitely purchase again.
Hitch is holding up quite nicely. Probably carry more than I should on my trailer, from time to time, and have had no issues with the hitch.
My friend's told me you can't buy a class 3 hitch for a truck that's 32 years old.boy where they wrong,it wasn't covered in dust either it looks like it was just made.the package was well thought out also.its an awkward shape to try to carry but you guys came up with a clever way to pack it. The box had your name on it, so you all must have taken the time to think through the way to pack it so handlers don't get hurt and it arrived undamaged. KODOS.
This product has worked out great. I followed the video instructions and was able to mount it myself in about an hour. I use it constantly with my Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender. Great purchase at a good price.

Receiver hitch has held up great still looks brand new. I use it twice and week for the last year sometimes more. Quality product and material definitely recommend.
